Good Morning and HAPPY MONDAY! I hope you had a nice weekend. We went to Baltimore's Maryland Science Center and viewed the BODY WORLDS 2. Basically this scientist/doctor figured out a way to take actual human bodies and organs/bones/blood vessels and "plastinate" them. At first it was rather hard to look at... I was taken back by the fact that I was standing amongst real human bodies. It was amazing... amazing that someone could do this to the human body. Preserve everything about it. Check out more info at BODYWORLDS.com . Anyway... I have been trying to keep up with daily blogs and THAT IS HARD!!!! So if I do miss a day here and there... please leave a comment on any area of my blog (1 per day) so you can be entered for the blog candy each time you comment. I will try to continue daily... (detailsfor the candy can be found on last Monday's blog). On to TODAY'S TUTORIAL. The Altoid Tin Purse. It is up now... so go ahead and click on the TUTORIAL LINK at the top menu and check it out!
I saw this idea while surfing the net a while back on craft bits by Jennifer Camacho and just had to CASE it. I did modify it to accomodate one piece of ribbon for the handle among some other details. You can use other size tins as well. Or ones that open different ways. I will be playing around with these as well. I will be making a makeup kit with the children next week. You can add a small mirror (plastic if your child is very young) on the inside of the lid and have them decorate. then add the makeup they want!!! Well. It's time to start on my week. Hope you have some nice things planned for yourself. See you soon!
