FIRST before I start on the day's business.... A few days ago I mentioned SU would have a BIG announcement on a NEW PRODUCT line they would carry very soon! I just found out what it is: DECOR ELEMENTS - a line of self adhesive, vinyl wall decorations. I haven't seen any pics yet... but soon I'll be able to share a brochure with you all! Now, I don't know what all this looks like ... but I read thru the announcement transcript just now and there is a lot of excitement in the introduction of the whole new product! I am excited to see for myself what this is all about. As soon as I have a downloadable brochure, I'll post it here on my blog and somehow get it up at the top menu links. (not a lot of space left there!) Ok. On to today... Today's tip of the day is What is HEAT AND STICK POWDER and HOW DO YOU USE IT? There are so many thing you can "stick" using it. Glitter, fun flock, fabric, string... etc, etc! Basically it is a powdered adhesive that is activated by heating it! Check out today's tip of the day - Crstal Windows using Heat & Stick! Yesterday I made this card (below) (among others) ... when I really should've been working on my ATC's... It is using an retired Hostess set: Oh, So Lovely (so many other sets could be easity substituted. I stamped the image using Rose Red ink and then restamped it again next to it without reinking... so to get a lighter image. I layered piece of Old Olive DSP behind it and slapped it onto a Sage Shadow card. Then to make the 2 "bubbles" I used two silver jump rings... laid them right where I wanted them and dropped a few drops of CRYSTAL EFFECTS - Clear Craft Laquer right into them. The Crystal Effects dries clear and with dimension and also serves the purpose of the adhesive for the jump rings. You need to wait til it dries fully before touching it.

Please contact me for my mailing address. Ok. Today we are off to the Regal Cinemas where they show free kids movies all summer long! I think they offer this program anywhere there is a Regal Cinemas chain. Then running errands. (I better get all my driving in on one outing... gas is killing me! $100 a tank!) I even ordered my groceries from the local supermarket delivery service. I have never done this before and am a little anxious (hoping my produce is fresh and meats are kept cold).
