Well. I know I've been MIA lately. I had a crazy week and i decided to let myself off the hook for last week and start new this week.

I have been busy preparing for the Lake Linganore Community Craft Fair and Farmers Market (Oct 11 from 2-4pm at the Coldstream Pool Lot), the annual Marzullo Fundraiser Holiday Gift Shop - this year to benefit TACT (Teach Autisitic Children Today) on Nov 14  10am-1pm, and 50 DCES Teacher greeting card packs.

Also...in addition to selling my cards at the MUSE in downtown Frederick I am now going to sell my creations at ART PARTNERS, INC in Clarksville, MD!  check out the store here! Thank you Barbara! I am so exited to be expanding into Clarksville and I am so grateful that Art Partners is willing to take me on!

As you can see I have a lot on my plate. I  am going to do my best to keep up with everything and this website and blog is no exception. I have already prepared my tutorial for the week. you can tune in on Tuesday to check it out. here's a view of the finished card.

I forced myself to take an hour today to craft. So without further ado...

The tree is from the new set Season of Friendship and the felt flowers are cut out using my new BIG SHOT and dies. It's amazing. you can now make your own felt shapes and add them to your cards and pages!

The Good Life card uses the new holiday DSP paper that will be available starting Oct1 in the new Holiday Mini.  

On Monday I will spend much of the day working and getting back in the groove. I ran all my errands today and did chores on Saturday. So I should be fresh and ready to roll on monday morning!

I Apologize everyone for not posting in about 5 days! I have been SOOOOO busy!

Today is Emily's bday and as you may know... I have been working non stop trying to redo her room in time.

I am just about finished and over the weekend we had a "BFF Sleepover" bday celebration for her. So to say the least, I did not get one spare moment on the computer for several days. And this morning i had to volunteer at the school... so I am just getting home now. On top of that I am expecting a few ladies in half an hour for a school teacher BIRTHDAY CLUB meeting. (a PTA thing).

So I am embarrassed to say... I do not have a tute ready today.

I will try to have one up by tomorrow afternoon. But I'm not sure. I have a workshop on friday night that I need to finish preparing for and tonight my mom and dad have invited us to dinner.

Sounds like a whole lot of excuses... but I do have a pic to share with you. The "goodie boxes" with Emily's vintage charm... one for each bff, the bday girl, and her sister- of course!.

I used friend paper and silver stretchy cord.

As a demo you can preorder sets from upcoming mini catalogs... so I picked som eof my faves and here's two of them!

The first uses only the SEASON of FRIENDSHIP stamp set. It is a tree with bird, flower, leaves, snowflake and a saying.

Yhis next one i used the tree from the Season of Friendship and added an owl and moon and saying from the HALLOWEEN FREiGHTS set!

I just love trees and plants. and of course birds!
