I just wanted to share these three cards today.

They are basically the same... but I used Stampin' Up! RUBONS in white for the sentiments  and added a frog on one (really to hide a mistake... heehee).

I love these rubons. they are very high quality and the different styles are very nice.

Tomorrow I need to work on ATCs for my swap as well as a Demo swap I am in monthly. I also need a few extra hours a day...  LOL.

That's it for now. Gotto get the kids in bed..... and then scoop me a BIG BOWL of ice cream.  *gosh... sometimes I even feel guilty!

Short blog tomorrow. Jury Duty calls....

A couple weeks ago Terry came over and we played around with CHIPBOARD a little bit. You know that Stampin' Up sells the best quality chipboard! They come in sheets with shaped already perforated into them... so you just push and embellish.

I mentioned how nice it would be to be able to cut out your own chipboard shapes... It's so thick that you can barely get scissors to cut through it.  She turned around and saw that I had this OLD SIZZIX machine. You know the old one... before all the fancy electronic machines and wafer die cutters. She said she read somewhere that you could cut through thick chipboard and we have it a shot. IT WORKS!

So this is today's tip of the week. You can pull out your old Sizzix cutter and dies, blow the dust off and make your very own chipboard shapes! That's just another good reason to be a packrat and SAVE EVERYTHING!

Hello everybodee!!!! (says Grover...- I don't know why I thought of that).

Just wanted to pop in and say hi!

If you are wondering how my new DECOR ELEMENTS worked out in my home...

I have to say... I LOVE IT! I didn't think I would. I thought it would be tacky and I had never considered putting anything like it up on my walls. However I did buy 2 things ... since i would be selling it... I thought I should have a little experience with it. AND WOW! Did I mention... I LOVE IT?!

For those who will be visiting me in my home soon... you will get a first hand look. For those who are far away...

I purchased the Manhattan Flowers and Long Stem Silhouette.

I think I may get 2 or 3 more Long Stem Silhouette pieces and fill in the whole corner.... just thinking... And maybe the Manhattan Flower in Kraft color to complement the 3 I already have. i ordered a second set in Chocolate and it will be here soon!

I am anxious to see what Phase 2 and Phase 3 have to offer. maybe some more variety in designs? This time around Stampin' Up is offering a total of 14 different  designs as well as the entire alphabe. All offered in two colors and most offered in two sizes. I am hoping for more if the modern simple clean line designs ...

Anyway... that's what I did today... as well as craft with the kids, garden a bit, take the girls swimming, make 3 meals,  a load of laundry and... well that's it! I think...

Don't forget to take a moment to enter in the BLOG CANDY DRAWING. Scroll to yesterday's (MONDAY 7/7/08) blog entry to view details and see the prize!

See you tomorrow!

Good Morning! Con you believe it is already WEEK #26 of 2008? Time really flies and we are on the downslope to the holidays!!! We'll get back to the holidays in a couple weeks... or months...

SUNDAY! Where have I been? PDF Print E-mail
Written by Allison

Wondering where I've been? Me too! The girls have been keeping me VERY busy! And in the evenings I have been watching WEST WING with my hubby! (It's not the kind of show you can put on and craft to. You actually have to pay attention. They talk so fast and if you look down for a second you miss too much! )So after watching the show until all hours of the night... I have been having a hard time waking at 5 am to work!!! Go figure.

I did get a chance to make several cards for the MUSE and have been making lots of plans for the 2 Girls camps i am offering at the end of the month.  Lots of fun projects!!!  I am so excited!

Here's a sneak peek at tomorrow's tutorial of the week.

Anyway... I know I promised you a little blog candy in celebration of crossing over the 20K hits - YEAH!

I will get it together and put it up early next week. forgive me for being so disorganized... Summer is ... well... summer!

(can you believe they already have BACK TO SCHOOL aisles at the local stores????)

Have a great rest of SUNDAY and see you back here tomorrow!
