Hi There and welcome to my 2009 Artist Trading Card Monthly Swap.

This has been updates as of JULY 2009.

Here's some info for this year!

this is the second year we are making a go at this.  Last year was a huge learning experience for me. From actually making cards to meeting new swappers... learning techniques to the business of hosting the swap! Every aspect brought new understanding and appreciation for this artform!

I welcome any and all artisits to swap with us. This year I will detail the rules here:

TO SIGN UP: You MUST sign up under each month you wish to swap. That is you scroll to the bottom of the month you wish to swap and to the  "comments" section. Once there, you can put your name, or your nickname and write that you are signing up. If you email me directly... I will make EVERY EFFORT to add your name under the comments. check and make sure you are there.

IF YOU WANT AUTOMATIC UPDATES ON A PARTICULAR MONTH'S SWAP: when you sign up CHANGE THE DO NOT NOTIFY to NOTIFY (the area right next to email). THIS will ensure you get any updates I post on the that particular month's swap. For instance, if we are delayed... or if we are missing a swap. You will also get notified by email when anyone else comments as well!

IF YOU DO NOT mark as NOTIFY, You will be resposible to for checking back for updates which i will post in the comment area as well.

NUMBER OF CARDS TO MAKE:  make 3 cards total per month. ALL ONE OF A KIND.

SIZE: This is the only RULE applies to all ATCs. 2.5" x 3.5" card size on GOOD QUALITY BASE card stock. Stampin' Up Card Stock works well... but don't limit yourself. you can use cardboard, metal, chipboard,... any material that can be cut into that size!

QUALITY OF WORK: Please remember that  your ATCs are a direct representation of your art.  Do your BEST WORK. These cards get swapped all around the world! Your card may land in someone's collection in France, in Denver, or around the corner!  If you are stuck... try for at least 3 layers. Whether that is paper, paint, ink, dimensions, embellishments.

INFO ON THE BACK OF THE CARD: There are varying styles for the back. Generally you want to put a defining mark (like your signature) on the work of art! Something that says I MADE THIS. If you made 8 of the same card... number them as 1 of 8, 2 of 8... so the receiver knows if this in an One of a Kind work of art as opposed to a 3rd edition of 8.  Also, some like to put their city and state... it's fun to see how far a card has travelled to get to you! And a date of some kind.    Again these are just guidelines.

SEND YOUR SWAPS to me by the 20th of the month. I will swap out by the 25th. Please try your best to keep this deadline.

PLEASE ENCLOSE a SELF ADDRESSED, POSTAGE PAID (same amt as it takes you to mail your pack to me) envelope in your package.  ALSO, please enclose and extra 1st class stamp inside. I always return the stamp if it is not needed to send your swap back.

CONTACT ME for my mailing address. You can also email me directly at: This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it

(thanks for hanging in there to read all of this info!)

As we begin this new year's SWAPS, I want to thank everyone who participated last year and welcome those who are returning this year! I hope you were inspired, as I was, at all the different types and forms of art out there! Everyone has thier own styles and I enjoy having each card in my collection.

LET'S GET STARTED!
