BOW #1 & #2:
Image
you need 2 pieces of ribbon for each bow.

Image
for a TIDY bow... (for fancy wedding announcements and other "proper-like" cards.)
Tie the longer ribbon around the shorter ribbon.

Image
pull tight. Adjust bow from the front. It will lay flat on the long ribbon.

 Image
for a WHIMSICAL bow... (like kids cards or other "fun-like" cards.)
Tie the shorter piece around the longer piece.

Image
pull tight.

BOW #3- Tiered Bow
Image
you will need one wide ribbon, one slightly thinner ribbon and the same ribbon width (thinner) for the long tie around.

Image
layer the two ribbons as shown.

Image
tie the longest ribbon around the two tiers. (as in BOW #1).

Image
Pull semi-tight. Not too tight so the center of the bow is "square-like".

Image
trim the layers. The wider one slightly longer than the top layer.

BOW #4 - Tailored Bow
Image
two pieces. one short and one long.

Image
make a ring with the longer piece. I used glue dots to hold it in place. Mini Glue Dots stick GREAT to Gros-grain ribbon!

Image
take shorter ribbon and wrap around the center.

Image
stick with another glue dot.

 Image
trim. This is still the back view. The front is seamless.

BOW #5- Pull Through Bow
 Image
cardstock, hold punch and ribbon.

Image
punch two holes side by side. The wider the ribbon, the bigger the holes.

Image
pull each end through the front so the ends hang out the back.

Image
(back view) Hold one side tight

Image
feed the opposite side through the hole and out to the front.
Do the same for the part of the ribbon you help tight.- feeding it through the other hole.

Image
 trim the ends as desired.
