What is Heat and Stick Powder?

It is basically a adhesive in a dry powder form that is activated by heat from a heat tool.

What can you stick using it?

I love to use glitter on my cards. You can use it with a rubber stamped image or direct to paper. Also you can use it with Fun Flock, and other small items (such as micro beads, some small seed beads). Also try string and fine ribbons.

Here's what you need: Versamark Ink Pad, Heat & Stick Powder, Fine Glitter (SUCH as Dazzling Diamonds, or fine Cosmo Glitter... or even use the chunky glitters!), Heat tool (not shown), scrap paper, and rubber stamp and ink.

 for this particular piece:

Stamp your image onto cardstock and cut to size.

directly apply versamark pad to image covering well.

sprinkle on the HEAT & STICK powder (liberal application is best)

 Image

shake off extra (put back into the container so it doesn't blow away!) and heat the image using the heat tool.

working quickly sprinkle on the glitter (again liberally) and heat set. Not too long as the glitter will scorch!

all done!

Now you can try with on chipboard or glass as well! And you can stamp your image using versamark and do the same thing to make a delicate image in glitter! You can go on and on!
