I saw an idea something like this online somewhere... but for my life I CAN NOT FIND IT AGAIN! IF you know who i can give credit to for this idea, please let me know! (I did alter it so it was easier in my view.) Make a SUN (sunflower, embellishment frame, etc) using your Stampin' Up SCALLOP CIRCLE PUNCH. 
supplies: Scallop punch, yellow card stock, other card stock layer colors, 1-3/8" circle punch, 1-1/4" circle punch, DOTTO NON-Permanent (removeable) adhesive, dimensionals or other permanent adhesive, scrap computer paper. 
first punch the scallop shape in yellow. 
apply a little DOTTO 
here's an image with the DOTTO applied. 
temporarily adhere to scrap paper. 
slide it back into the Scallop Punch and slightly turn it so the "scallop edges" are lined up to form pointy tips.  here's a vew after it's punched. 
rub off DOTTO. (this is a great use for DOTTO) 
punch out your other circle layers. 
using dimensionals (or other perm adhesive) layer together to form SUN! finished
