For every project... there's an adhesive that's perfect. Since I have NOT used the SU GLUE STICK, I will not comment on them here. For adhering layers on your cards and for making permanent 2-D embellishments to scrap pages the SNAIL MONOADHESIVE is a fast and effective way. Easy strokes and thin application make this perfect for these projects. Store this products in room temperature (75-90 degrees) - too cold and it won't stick well. For figuring out placement of photos, layers or needing to keep something from sliding around while stamping... the DOTTO NON-PERMANENT ADHESIVE is great. These tiny dots (I MEAN TINY - probably 1/32" size dots right next to each other) are easily lifted back up and can be rubbed off by hand. I use this in particular when I am stamping something exact and it requires the card stock to remain perfectly still. Once I stamp, then I rub it off and use MONO ADHESIVE. Also... when I make packs of gift tags, I use thie DOTTO to stick to the packaging for presentation. Once customer puchases them , they can rub off the adhesive and there's no mark or mess! For assembling boxes I love to use STICKY STRIP. This (looks red, but is clear when the backing is peeled off) Double sided tape is HARD CORE. Does not come apart once stuck. You need to be careful to be exact the first time when sticking... you will not be able to re-align the tape. Also useful for MICRO BEADS, and can be heated. So you can use Embossing powders with it! Use this product if you are sending cards to very cold regions (since Snail tends to fall apart in temperatures under 25 degrees F). 2-WAY GLUE PEN. This is a liquid glue. (You need to depress the nib (point) for the glur to flow.) It comes out blue and dries clear. 2-way because you let is turn clear before adhering and the bond is non-permanent. Stick while it's blue and it is permanent. I use this for glitter mostly. Also great for 3-d project assembly and for sticking Designer Paper to chipboard. A NEW FAVORITE - TOMBO MULTI ADHESIVE. This is a white, liquid glue and dries clear- like Elmers... BUT totally different. It has two sides (applicators). One side is a pen applicator and the other is broad. Much like 2-way glue, you let it dry before sticking and it is non-permanent. Adhere while it is still white and wet, it makes a permanent bond. NOTE: if you have latex allergies, DO NOT USE. I believe it is Latex Based. Useful for 3-D project assembly and adhering embellishment to cards - ie, glitter, beads, ribbon, etc. and sticking DSP to chipboard. Also for fabric and other materials (like foam, plastic...). Sticks to most anything. STAMPIN' DIMENSIONALS - the perfect "pop dot". No waste design (I even use the outer edge) and sticks like crazy. Won't come apart once stuck to paper. If you try to take it apart, it will rip in the foam and you need to try and rub it away to use a new one. For raising images and layers on your pages and cards (and other projects). MINI GLUE DOTS - 3/16" inch circle dots of glue. Useful for adhering half-pearls, any small objects. Sticks rather well. Permanent. POP UP GLUE DOTS - very Sticky! Great for embellishing your projects. I use them especially when adhering chipboard to projects and making 3-D projects (check out the 3-D flower tutorial). also will be showcasing them during an upcoming PAPER CLIP/BOOK MARK project (some of you received this from me last winter). CRYSTAL EFFECTS - So many uses... where should I start?! You can use in place of MODGE PODGE for a crystal clear glaze/seal (use with paint brush). You can permanently stick on jewels (use tiny dots). Wisp some on cardstock and adhere microbeads (looks like sugar or snow...), Fill in metal rings for clear bubble effects, drop dots of it on paper for water look (like drops of rain). You have to let this dry. The thin applicationries very fast. The thicker it is, it can take up to overnight. It isessentially a very strong glue that does not lose it's shape when dropped onto paper. (there are more uses...but these are just a few).
