Magic Picture Card. the color appears before your eyes!!! you will need a paper trimmer, card stock for card base and one for slider piece, ink pads, stamps, circle punch of any size (larger than 1" preferred), Stazon ink pad, plastic sheet (transparency), slot punch (not shown here), adhesive, scissors, dimensionals (not shown). take a card base piece of card stock and cut to 5.5" x11" Score at 3 6/8" and 7 1/2". Turn vertically and score at 1/2". Cut out the two side tabs as shown. cut diagonal tips off the remaining tab as shown. Fold at score marks and crease well.
Cut a rectangle out of the middle of the center part of the base. You can use scissors or an exacto knife and ruler. or your paper trimmer works well too! When all folded, the card should look like this. When it is closed... take your circle punch and punch out a notch as shown.
This is the inside view of the card. The top portion you can embellish to show through the window. I embellished that top portion and made a layer for the front of the card. once closed... the card looks like this. working on the lower portion , punch out a LONG slot across as shown. So far this is what the card looks like. now score and crease well the plastic sheet in half. stamp on an image onto the plastic using stazon ink. This is permanent and will dry quickly on plastic. Using the second card stock piece cut to 5"x3.5" embeliish as desired. This piece will be the background for the plastic when pulled out. I lined up the yellow moon (circle) to fit behind the head of the cat. and used white embossing powder to emboss the "boo". this is what it will look like when it is assmebled. adhere the cardstock to the backside of the plastic "folder". Insert the plastic as shown - to hang over (along) the top of the portion that shows through the front. once you line the card up flip it over to the back side. There you will see the slot you made. Adhere 2 dimensionals (one on top of the other) carefully, - NOTE: make sure the sides of the dimensionals do not stick to the opening so it can glide freely. stick a penny on the dimensional finished!!! open view!
