You can make your own CUSTOM INK PADS using BABY WIPES! This tutorial contains two ideas USING BABY WIPES.
supplies needed: baby wipe (moist), re-inkers (used pretty in pink, purely pomegranate, only orange, and royal rose colors here), card stock (confetti white here), stamp set (Fabulous Flowers used here) , and clean styrofoam tray (or use a paper plate...) In addition, to finish my card, I used more confetti white cardstock scraps for layers, jewel brad (prom the pretties kit), adhesive, paper snips, chocolate chip ink pad, sponge, glossy white card stock for card base, chocolate chip re-inker.
first foldflat the baby wipe in the tray and randomly put dots of ink all over it. (I only used the first set of colors. Save the choc chip color for later).
dip your stamp into the "ink pad". Feel free to dab, dab, dab around... To get the whole stamp inked.
stamp your image on the card stock. (this concludes the baby wipe concept. i am going to continue to finish my card). repeat using the next stamp. and stamp image on scraps.
repeat with next flower
I stamped a second big flower cut out the two small flowers and a portion of the second big flower (as shown). using the choc chip ink pad and sponge, sponge the edges of the square card stock and the edges of the cut out flowers. (just "wisp" it at the edges... antiquing it a little).
wisp like this photo.
layer one on another and add jewel brad in center. I left one small flower off for the accent piece.
NOW here is the second thing you can do with the wipe you have already used for the first steps... add a little choc chip reinker dots ... and other colors as you wish. (just 2 or 3 dots each)
scrunch up your wipe in your fingers and streak it across (or vertically) on the glossy white card stock card base. let it dry for a few min. and wash your hands!
add your flower to the card. add sentiment. I sponged around everything so they would all tie in together. Voila... FABULOUS FLOWER!
