There are 10 steps to completing this BUCKLE CARD. 

step 1. Supplies needed -

Stamp set(s), Ink (pads),Paper Cutter with SCORER, Snail Adhesive, Small Corner Punch, Word Window Punch, one - 1 5/8" x 5 1/2" piece of card stock for belt (shown here in Mellow Moss), one- 5 1/2" x 7" piece of cardstock for card base (real red), one - 4" x 5 1/2" piece of card stock for inside layer (whisper white).

step 2. Score 5 1/2" x 7" piece of card stock horizontally at 4 1/4".

step 3. Score 1 5/8" x 5 1/2" piece of card stock at 3 1/2". This is the belt piece.

step 4. Using the Corner Rounder Punch, round the two corners of the belt piece on the bigger side.

step 5. Stamp and embellish the smaller side (2 3/4"side) of the card base. (real red). I usedthe SNOW BURST set from the '07 Holiday Mini catalog.

step 6. Punch out a slot using the Word Windew Punch on the lower half of the piece you just decorated. (card front).

step 7. Add Snail Adhesive to the small side of the belt piece.

step 8. Line up the belt piece to lay even with the slot and adhere to the inside of the card (real red).

step 9. Adhere the inside layer (4" x 5 1/4" White card stock) to cover the tab of the belt.

step 10. finish decorating and slide the belt into the slot. VIOLA!
