squeeze out a fair amount of glue onto the card stock use brush to swirl the glue around sprinkle on Pearl Ex use brush to dot blend the pearl ex around you should soak the brush in water so the glue doesn't dry on the brush. heat using heat tool until it bubbles and dries finished technique HEATED CHALKS supplies needed: Elmer's Glue, stipple brush, Stampin' Pastels chalks, knife or other blade, glossy card stock, heat tool (not shown) As above, first squeeze glue onto the card stock and swirl around using the brush. Next, using blade edge and chalks, scrape a bit of a few different colors onto the glue. using brush, pounce the chalk dust around in the glue. you can add a little glitter at this point is desired. heat using heat tool until it bubbles. here's the two different techniques side by side. (I changed the chalk colors because while I was taking time to take a photo with the heat tool on the chalks... the card stock dried and I didn't get a good bubble photo...- however the second chalk photo I didn't pounce the chalk dust around and instead swirled it around blending it a lot more than pouncing. I live the pouncing better.) pic of the Pearl Ex card close up of the pearl ex card pic of the chalk card close up of the chalk card
