Photo Wallet: Original Design by - Bev Gerard. Adapted for Simply Scrappin' Kit by Allison Lee
Supplies Needed: Paper Trimmer with Scorer, Corner Rounder Punch, SImply Scrappin' Kit (I used left overs from my last project!), Sticky Strip Adhesive, Snail Adhesive, one- 4and1/4"x12" piece of Cardstock for Base (here Patterned Designer paper from Kit), three- 3"x8" pieces of card stock (here Regal Rose, Pretty in Pink and Wild Wasabi), four- 2 and 3/4" x 3 and 3/4" pieces of neutral cardstock (here Very Vanilla- also I only used 3. You can use the 4th piece for the cover if you wish), one- 1 and 3/8"x 8 and 1/2" strip for belt (used more designer paper here), and one- 1 and 5/8" x 8 and 1/2" strip for belt (designer paper), stickers from the kit for embelishment!
step 1. Score wallet base piece at 3 and 1/4" and 6 and 5/8". step 2. Turn wallet to the other side and score at 1 and 5/8" and 1 and 7/8".
step 3. Use the corner rounder on all corners of the wallet base.
step 4. Use corener rounder punch on all corners of the three- 3"x8" pieces.
step 5. Use corner rounder punch to round 3 of the neutral pieces. 4th one can be used for the cover... I did not use it. step 6. Score each 3" x 8" piece at 4".
step 7. line up the 3" x 8" pieces and adhere the neutral pieces as shown.
step 8. embellish using kit stickers. The Neutral parts are for journalling and the middle section is for the photos.
step 9. place a post-it note or some marking on the journaling sides of the layout. step 10. flip over all the pieces. Embellish the sides with the post it notes.
step 11. Flip all back over and line up on wallet base. Using the sticky strip, adhere each of the 3 levels to each section of the wallet.
step 12. score both belt pieces at 1&3/4", 2" and 5&1/2" .
step 13. Adhere both belt layers together.
step 14. Place belt around the folded wallet and use Sticky Strip to adhere the belt together to itself... forming a "belt" to slide on and off the wallet. Embellish the front of the belt any way you like.
VOILA! Your finished Photo Wallet. Now just add your photos and you're done!
