Stamping on CANDLES

 

Supplies: white tissue paper, rubber stamps (TART AND TANGY and MANY HAPPY RETURNS), makers and ink pads, scissors, heat tool (not shown), wax paper, white candle.

 

 

step 1: stamp your images onto the tissue paper. Use a scrap paper on the back because the ink bleeds thru the tissue paper.

 

 

 

 step 2: cut out all the images you wish to use. I also made a for U by Allison piece... written directly on the tissue paper and cut out.

 

 

 

step 3: place each image onto the candle and hold a piece of wax paper taught over the image. Then take your heat tool and heat over the wax paper... careful not to burn your hands. you will see the wax from the wax paper sepp into the tissue and onto the candle.

 

 

 

step 4: carefully peel the wax paper back and smooth over the image with your finger. 

 repeat with all your images. i randomly adhered the sayings around the candle and 3 strawberries.

 

 

 

 

 

 FINISHED!
