POCKET CARD (idea submitted by Ann!) supplies needed: paper trimmer with scoring blade, large punch (scallop circle used here), stapler, adhesive, ink pad, rubber stamp sentiment (optional), 6.5"x8.5" Designer series paper (double sided), 5.25"x4" cardstock layer colored , 5"x3.75" whisper white card stock layer, approx. 4" ribbon piece. working along the 8.5" vertical DSP : score 1/2" on each side working along the 6.5" side: score at 4.25" mark (at half mark of the DSP) cut out the two areas (as shown). using scissors, cut diagonal pieces off each corner of the larger half (to make tabs). fold and crease at score marks. add adhesive to the two tabs. fold up and seal the "sleeve" as shown using large punch, punch out a "semi-circle" notch in the center of the front of the sleeve. here's a view form the front. another view from the top. Now set this sleeve (pocket) aside.
fold ribbon in half and staple it to the center of the colored card stock. this will be the pull tab. here's the flip view. Set aside. stamp senitment on the white card stock piece at the center top. adhere white cardstock to colorder card stock (hiding the staples) that's it! the inner card slides out for viewing. And the whole pocket card fits inside a standard size invitation envelope for mailing. Try a little something different. reduce size for gift card sizes. Or different shapes! Have fun! Thanks Ann for the great idea!!!
