Here's one for a faux dry emboss look using your STAMPIN' AROUND wheels!

 Image

before beginning you will need to ink a UNINKED ink cartridge (since the WHITE or VANILLA craft ink color is not available in preinked cartridges (at this time). You need a refill ink (WHISPER WHITE) and an UNINKED CARTRIDGE.

supplies needed: WHEEL HANDLE, Stampin' Wheel (here - FLITTING BY), card stock, 1 colored ink cartridge (Night of Navy here), 1 inked Whisper White or Very Vanilla  Cartridge and (optional) roller guide (for straight lines).

first insert darked ink cartridge and ink up your wheel

locate the SEAM of the wheel

line up the seam to the bottom edge of the card stock. then roll a straight line.

clean off your wheel and insert the white cartridge. ink it up and locate the seam again. THIS IS IMPORTANT: make sure you insert your wheel in the same direction you did for the darker color step.

Image

line up the seam on the bottom edge again and roll over the darker image.

there you have it!

here's the finished card. I used the image as my central image... but you can make borders and backgrounds as well!!!

That is really cute! I have lots of wheels. Once you ink an uninked cartridge, can you wash it and change color or does it have to remain strictly for that color?
