Here's a perfect little gift box! Fill it with any little trinkets or treat you wish! TREAT BOX!
supplies: paper trimmer with scorer, sticky strip, 8.5"x8.5" cardstock, ribbon approx 12" long, 1/4"square punch (or circle, or slit punch), corner rounder punch andpaper snips (not shown)
score one side at 1.25", 3.25", 5.25" and 7.25" turn the paper upsidedown and make the same score marks. You will end up with a grid on your cardstock.
cut out the shaded areas
use corner punch to make scalloped edges on the 4 tabs. (i didn't leave instructions here... but you can view it in the list of tutorials named PERFECT SCALLOPED EDGES ) using the square punch, punch a square hole on the sides of each of the tabs. here's what your cardstock should look like at this point.
line the corners up in your paper scorer and score the top and bottom squares only. Turn the cardstock 90degrees and do the same to the other 2 squares.

this is what the score marks should look like. crease at the score marks.
using sticky strip, assemble box.
here's what it should look like.
weave your ribbon in and out of holes.
flip the box upside down and add sticky strip pieces close to the scalloped edge. (this is important that it is as close to the edge as possible so the ribbon will still pull when the box it taped.)
turn the box back over and adhere sticky strip pieces. Pull on the ribbon ends to make it taut.
tie a box or knot. now to fill. I used 4 Hersey's nuggets in a small cello bag. Then just folded it over and pushed it into the box! add a tag sentiment (optional) with a jump ring or cording. TREAT BOXES FOR ALL!
